Every Lonely Heart
I wanted to make something a bit easy on the eyes with soft warm colors. My intention for this was to be used as posters or as a print on iPhone cases. Personally, I prefer prints on clothing or accessories to be fairly simple so I chose a color scheme and I knew beforehand I also wanted to do something with stone/rock/ice/crystal textures. So, I came up with this!
The text on the poster is actually a lyric from a song.

Dreams
For this image I wanted to create something slightly surreal. I started of inspired by the ocean. There's a whole different world under water. So, I wanted to show a person coming from one world taking a peak into what's on the other side.

Howling
Ever feel like you want to scream but you can't? I started "Howling" with this idea. I like working with patterns and I really wanted to incorporate that into this piece. Usually I work with a lot of photo-manipulation or photo illustration, but this time I really wanted to go for something a bit more raw and I decided to draw everything out myself. First I drew out most of the linework in black and white and after I had the general idea down I started to add color and texture.
Creating the lines and patterns for this was fun, but also tedious at times. There's quite a lot of detail going on in this illustration. I'm also planning on use the wolf from this illustration as a t-shirt print.

Butterfly Rose
As the title states, it's a rose made out of butterflies. Originally made for my girlfriend, I chose the colors she likes combined with romantic elements; butterflies and roses.
I wanted to put a spin on the typical image of a butterfly on a rose, so I thought it would be cool to make a rose made out of butterfly wings. It took a lot of work getting the rose to look right and it's A1 in size, which slowed down my laptop considerably while working. Basically, I took a butterfly wing and used the warp tool in Photoshop to manipulate it to look like a certain part of a rose.

On Silent Wings
Wallpaper I made inspired by Japan.
I added various “Japanese” elements, such as:
Torii - A traditional Japanese gate
Koi - A fish symbolizing love and friendship
Mount Fuji - The highest mountain in Japan
Sake - An alcoholic beverage of Japanese origin.
There are a lot more items in there, good luck identifying them all!
